Smoke from a faulty machine that makes steam for the steam room at the Training Station athletic club summoned firefighters to Channel Dr. Tuesday afternoon, but the situation was deemed under control within an hour of the alarm.
Firefighters responded to an alarm shortly before 4 p.m. One hour later, a manager at the gym said the building was open for business. He said there was no significant damage to report.
