Man Arrested for Shoplifting

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington Police District over the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants has been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

A Roslyn woman was placed under arrest on Rockwood Avenue for driving with a suspended license and an open warrant on Sept. 17 at 8:54 a.m.

A Williston Park man was placed under arrest at 961-3 Port Washington Blvd. on Sept. 18 at 10:19 a.m. for shoplifting.

A Corona woman was placed under arrest for an open warrant on Sept. 18 at 2:32 p.m.

Complaints

A woman on Davis Road reported on Sept. 14 at 6:25 p.m. that  $5,300 worth of property and money was stolen from her residence. A local investigation is underway. 

A complainant reported on Sept. 19 at 12:26 p.m. damage and missing items from vehicles parked at 30 Harbor Park Drive. A local investigation is underway.
