Nassau Cops Investigating Armed Robbery

Nassau police are seeking the public’s help in investigating a robbery that occurred on early Thursday morning in Franklin Square.

Detectives say that at 2:10 a.m. an unknown man, armed with a black handgun entered CVS, at 640 Franklin Avenue and demanded money from the 56-year-old male employee. The victim who was at the cash register complied and the subject fled on foot, heading west through the parking lot, with an undetermined amount of money.  

The suspect is described as approximately five-foot-eight, average build, wearing a gray hat, a mask, blue shirt and black jeans.

There were no reported injuries.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
