Nassau County Police Launch Facebook Page

Web page offers e-mail address where residents can share comments and inquiries.

Nassau County Police Department's (NCPD) official Facebook page has gone live.  In an effort to keep residents up-to-date with ongoing police initiatives and stories of interest, the NCPD created a Facebook page that enables the dissemination of information to individuals who become fans of the page.

Currently, the page contains photos and press releases of recent NCPD announcements that include the county's three pronged approach to combating heroin, information on the gun buy back, the anti-heroin parental awareness ads and much more. In addition, the site offers an e-mail address (ncpdfacebook@pdcn.org) where residents can send their comments, questions and/or concerns.

The Nassau County Police Department takes great pride in its excellent reputation for protecting and serving the people of Nassau County and is happy that with the use of technology it is making itself more accessible.
