Nassau's Bravest Compete in Old Fashion Drill Tournament

A 2-day event in New Hyde Park and Port Washington.

Teams of volunteer firefighters from across Nassau County competed in Old Fashion Drill events on Friday night at the Denton Ave Training Facility at Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park.

More than 70 volunteer fire departments from across Nassau County are taking part in this multi-day annual event. The motorized drill team tournament will take place in New Hyde Park until 3 p.m.

View the along Main Street in Port Washington starting Saturday at 6 p.m. and join the block party place near the parking lot opposite .
