Plandome Rd will be closed from Stonytown Rd to near Northern Blvd Saturday from 3:45-6 p.m., according to NorthShoreAlert, the mass communication system for the peninsula.
That's when the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a parade, followed by a block party with free food and kids rides at the Long Island Rail Road station parking lot.
Traffic will be diverted to Port Washington Blvd via Stonytown Rd and Northern Blvd.
