A rollover accident occurred in downtown Port Washington Friday.
The incident involving an SUV occurred at the corner of Main Street and N. Bayles Ave. at about 2:30 p.m.
Apparently, the unknown driver of the SUV drove into the rear lift gate of a parked Coke truck before a chain that supports the gate acted as a ramp and sent the vehicle into the air, said one witness.
"Incredibly, the driver walked away unharmed," said the witness.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
