Police Seek Northern Blvd Robber

Nassau Police say man struck three gas stations Thursday in Flower Hill, Roslyn Heights and Great Neck.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for three robberies overnight Thursday along Northern Boulevard.

In the span of an hour between 3-4 a.m. police say the man attempted to hold up the Shell gas station on Mineola Avenue in Roslyn Heights, Mobil gas station in Flower Hill and Mobil gas station in Great Neck.

At the Roslyn Heights Shell at about 3:05 a.m., the attendant refused a demand for money and the subject then fled on foot.

At the Flower Hill Mobil 10 minutes later, a man displayed a handgun demanding money. The attendant complied and the subject fled on foot.

At the Great Neck Mobil at 4 a.m., a man demanded money and the attendant handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The subject fled on foot.

Police describe the robber as a black man between 20-25 years old and standing 5-foot-7. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers and a dark cloth covering his lower face.
