Port Washington Woman Arrested for Grand Larceny
Police say she was stealing pocketbooks out of shopping carts.
Port Washington Police arrested a Port Washington woman on Wednesday night for grand larceny.
Police say Alizabeth Tramutola, 39, of Charles Street in Port Washington, was taking people’s pocketbooks out of shopping carts at on Shore Road.
Tramutola was arrested at her home Wednesday at 9:45 p.m., charged with two counts of grand larceny.

Tramutola was expected to be scheduled for arraignment at Nassau County Criminal Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
