Port Washington Woman Reported Found

Alert was issued for a Manorhaven resident.

Nassau County police said a , who was discharged from a hospital in East Meadow but not seen afterward, was located.

Police said Pearl Braun, 59, was last seen when she was discharged on June 18 from Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. 

They did not say where she had been found.

The Silver Alert Program has been established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.

I am so glad that this poor soul has been found. Someone should look at NUMC Discharge Planning.

Yes! Thank Goodness she was found. I agree, someone should look at the discharge policy at NUMC. How could they let her be discharged by herself is beyond me!!

The TONH should be under some investigation for charging such a high fee for a very short summerRead More season. You lose most of june and the pool closes in early September. Better off paying as you go just purchase the parking permit which is good at the Manorhaven Pool and the Harbor beach. Stop buying a season pass in protest to the yearly excessive price increase.

We had discolored water on Hickory also.
