PWPD Awards Ceremony is Tuesday
Recognition given for good police work and life-saving acts.
The Port Washington Police District will hold its awards ceremony on Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m. at the Flower Hill Hose Company on Haven Avenue. Members of the public are invited to attend.
According to Acting Chief James Salerno, the 32 awards will be given out to Port Washington's finest who performed good police work and life-saving acts. In addition, all members of the district who worked during Superstorm Sandy will receive a recognition bar.
