PWPD Crime Report: April 19-25

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington Police District over the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with multiple VTL offenses on Wakefield Avenue on April 19.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with multiple VTL offenses on Port Washington Boulevard on April 21.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and menacing at 11 Oakland Ave. on April 21.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana at Harbor Homes on April 23.

  • A complainant reported the theft of a gold necklace valued at approximately $7,000 from her purse at 415 Main St. on April 19. A local investigation of this grand larceny is currently underway.
  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons made an unauthorized charge of $191 to her American Express card. In addition, the complainant said $75 was stolen from her home on April 19. A fraud investigation is currently underway.
