PWPD Crime Report: June 7-13

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington area over the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

  • A Port Washington woman was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and resisting arrest at The Training Station at 45 Channel Drive on June 7.

  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons damaged his vehicle while parked in his driveway at 33 Central Drive on June 7. A local investigation of this incident is currently underway.
  • A complainant reported that she purchased a business for $70,000 from someone who was not legally authorized to sell said business on June 7. A local investigation of this incident is currently underway.
  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons broke the rear window of her vehicle at 41 Amherst Road on June 11. A local investigation of this incident is currently underway.

The following is an incident reported to the Nassau County Police Department's Sixth Precinct:

  • According to police, election signs were taken off a pole at the Shell Service Station at 99 Shore Road on June 11. The value of the signs is estimated at $400. The incident is currently under investigation.
