PWPD Crime Report: March 15-22

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington Police District over the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

  • A Long Island City man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Main Street on March 20.
  • Two Rocky Point women were arrested and charged with shoplifting at Rite Aid Pharmacy, located at 961 Port Washington Blvd., on March 20.

  • A complainant reported the theft of her wallet from Citizens Bank, located at 65 Shore Road, on March 16. Police are currently performing a local investigation of the alleged grand larceny.
  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons caused criminal mischief to her vehicle outside Haven Art, located at 29 Haven Ave., on March 20. This incident is under investigation.
