Road Closings for Turkey Trot Thursday in Port Washington

Find out which roads will be closed, when.

The annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot will take place between 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, when roads will be closed to traffic.

The race will begin at Manorhaven Beach Park on Manorhaven Blvd., and will continue onto Cow Neck Rd. and then head south onto Middle Neck Rd and Port Washington Blvd. It will cut across via Sandy Hollow Rd and Harbor Rd.
Then back north onto Shore Rd. And finally back onto Manorhaven Blvd.

The Port Washington Police District says that all residents north of Manorhaven Blvd. and Cow Neck Rd. will be unable to travel south during the road closures. Also the Soundview shopping center will only be accessible for Soundview residents during this period.

Some roads may re-open as early as 9:30 a.m., if possible.
