It’s been nearly 10 months since Manhasset’s Sixth Precinct merger with Williston Park’s Third Precinct went into effect.
At the time of the merger, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano said the plan would help the county save an estimated $23 million each year.
And while the number of patrol units would not be reduced, staffing would be decreased. Which has us wondering: have you seen a difference in response time from Nassau County Police? Is it the same? Better? Worse?
