Tree Down on Irma Avenue in Port Washington

Power outages reported in the area.

Irma Avenue by Sandy Hollow Road remains closed after a tree fell, causing power outages in the area.

Several Long Island Power Authority trucks were on the scene. LIPA is reporting that 22 customers in Baxter Estates and near Lions Field are without power. It estimates that power should be restored by 2:30 p.m. 

To report an outage, call LIPA at 800-490-0075, or text OUT to 695472 (myLIPA), or report an outage online.
