Annual Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony Planned
Nearly 100 couples expected to participate.
More than 90 North Hempstead married couples are expected to participate in the annual Valentine’s Day Marriage Vow Renewal ceremony next month in Port Washington, according to town officials.
The event allows longtime partners to reaffirm their commitment to one another and celebrate marriage.
“It is heartwarming to see these couples share their love for each other at such a special event,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth in a press release.
Lunch will be served at the fifth annual renewal ceremony, themed "Love is in the Air," is scheduled for Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington.
“This joyous occasion allows us to celebrate and honor the love shared between these individuals,” said Town Clerk Wayne Wink.
