Name: Daniel Ross

Hometown: Lifelong resident of Manhasset

Party: Democrat

Bio: Daniel Ross is a captain at the Lakeville-Manhasset Fire Department, where he has served as a volunteer for the past 10 years. Ross says he spent three years working for Deutsche Bank in New York and London from 2006 to 2009, handling investment portfolios of $50 million and more for private individuals and private companies. He says he co-founded a non-profit organization that works with young entrepreneurs by hatching new business concepts, and currently works as general manager at Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville.

Education: Ross earned a Bachelors in business administration from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.

Opponent: Sen. Jack Martins – Republican, Conservative, Independence

District: The Seventh Senate District covers Albertson, East Williston, Floral Park, Garden City Park, Great Neck, Herricks, Hicksville, Lake Success, Manhasset, Manorhaven, Mineola, New Hyde Park, Old Westbury, Port Washington, Roslyn, Sands Point, Stewart Manor, Westbury and Williston Park.

We have looked forward every year to joining the pool the new pool was a waist of money I want theRead More old pool back my kids hate it it constantly closes because little kids vomit and have accidents it's a giant kid pool there is no room to swim and it's not deep enough this was a great community place to gather and socialize now older kids don't want to go and have one less place to go for the summer good job
