Dec. 13: Special District Elections, School And Town Boards Meet

Happenings in and around Port Washington.

1. Eligible Port Washington residents are reminded to vote in the special district elections, at the , from 12-9p.m. On the ballot for police commissioner, is running for re-election, who is being challenged by , an 18-year old community college student. Patch will post results as soon as they are reported.

2. The other three special district elections are uncontested.  Paul Oleksiw is running for commissioner of the Port Washington Garbage District, Peter Meyer is running for re-election as commissioner of the . John Olszewski is running for re-election for the .
