Election Day: Steady Voter Turnout In Manorhaven

Polls close at 9 p.m.

Village of Manorhaven officials say election turnout has been brisk since polls opened at village hall at 6 a.m.

With one contested village trustee race on the ballot between incumbent Dorit Zeevi-Farington and challenger James M. Avena, a steady flow of polling place voters was apparent at 4 p.m with traffic expected to pick up after rush hour.

Also on the ballot in Manorhaven, Lucretia Steele and Rita Di Lucia are running unopposed for trustee seats. Peter Gallanter is in an uncontested race for village justice.
