League of Women Voters Meeting with State Sen. Jack Martin and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel

On Wednesday, October 5th, the League of Women Voters is conducting its opening meeting for this year.  Featured at this event are our two New York State representatives, Senator Jack Martins and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel will discuss their views on "What's Happening in Albany This Year?"  This event will take place at the Manhasset Public Library starting at 1:00 p.m.  The community is urged to attend and to find out where our New York State elected officials stand on issues important to all of us.  Jane Thomas, president of the Port Washington-Manhasset league, said, "The public is urged to attend and bring lots of questions to ask of our elected officials as the new session in Albany begins."  This event is free to the public and coffee and dessert will be served.
