Monday is FunDay Monday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at , and features a senior health education fair.
The event offers the opportunity for health screenings to check blood pressure, skin health, hearing, blood pressure and more. The health screenings will be provided by North Shore-LIJ, St. Francis Hospital , Withrop University and other medical experts.
Attorneys will be available to provide elder law information, as will members of the Nassau County Board of Elections to demonstrate the new voting machines. Check flyer for details.

India Day Parade Debuts
Supervisor Jon Kaiman and members of the Town Board recently joined with a contingent of Indian residents to announce first-ever Long Island’s India Day Parade.
The event takes place Aug. 11 at 1 p.m in Hicksville at the intersection of Broadway Route 107 and Ludy Street.
The theme, Celebrating Democracy, will feature live music, floats, dance, and food. India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15, commemorating liberation from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on that day in 1947.
