The U.S. senator says Kase has 'extensive knowledge of the judicial system.'

U.S. Sen. Kristen Gillibrand announced this week that she is endorsing Port Washington resident Elizabeth Kase for Nassau County Court Judge.

"I am pleased to endorse Elizabeth Kase for Nassau County Court Judge," Gillibrand said, in a statement. "She has dedicated her life to making our community a better place and her Criminal Law experience and background make her the ideal candidate for the County Court.   She has extensive knowledge of the judicial system and a strong commitment to making Nassau County a better place to live and raise a family.  I urge the voters of Nassau County to vote for Elizabeth Kase on Tuesday, Nov. 8th, 2011."

Kase is Democratic and Working Families candidate for Nassau County Judge. She is running against Angelo A. Delligatti, the Republican, Independence, Conservative, and Tax Revolt candidate.
