Hundreds Treated to North Hempstead’s Halloween Celebrations
Three Halloween events sponsored by town.
The Town of North Hempstead hosted several Halloween celebrations for children and seniors this past month.
The Department of Community Services and the Department of Services for the Aging organized Halloween Dances for seniors at Clinton G. Martin Park on Oct. 25 and the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury on Oct. 29.
On Halloween Night, the 2nd Annual Kids Halloween Bash was also held at the Community Center in Westbury. Attendees at all events were treated to hot food, candy, games, a costume contest, and hair-raising Halloween music.
