For the past few days Kate Murray and the south side of Nassau County has taken their lumps. Now it's only fitting that Jon Kaiman and the north side of the county take theirs. In either case and on either side, the following holds true. You can't satisfy all of the nassau taxpayers all of the time.

If there is a question/answer period at the of this "State of the Town" pronouncement, can we ask why new coffee vendor at the Port Washington train station, does not have a proper food service permit from the Town of North Hempstead and yet is allowed to operate? Apparently town code enforcement officials have been at the station on a dialy basis to make sure Eddy of Tasty Coffee, who had served us faithfully for 30 years, is run out of town. SHAME!

1. Mr. Kaiman how much Money are you Paying Dejana for renting the Equipment at the 24/7 site??? 2. Was this an open bid or was it just Patriotism. 3.How much does Dejana pay to store his Equipment on Town property. 4. George Maragos should start an Audit on the Money paid to Dejana!!! 5. County Executive, you can not even run the town right.

Good question - but remember this is the same regime that threw the clam shack off of Inspiration Wharf, on complaints from Louies (a big benefactor to Kaiman as documentated in the Building corruptions trials). As an aside to the ToNH Department of Public Safety - while I'm sure you think what you do is of the utmost importance, the fire zones around firehouses have a couple of purposes, not the least of which is allowing the apparatus to safely, and efficiently leave the firehouse. Its never a good place for you to park, while you are staking out the coffee truck. Do as I say, not as I do?

It is always the architect's' and Builders' fault , never the fault of the failed fumbling supervisor's. I wish Kaiman would just get lost so we can have our Building Department

Kaiman is a phony. handed the job by Mae Neuberger after bouncing around. from one political patronage job to another. Not even from Long Island. in turn he kept her on the payroll AFTER she retired as a high paid "good will ambassador". When this happened about ten years ago it seemed like no one was watching the shop and people in the township were happy making money. When he won the election his only thought was who he could dole out what jobs to and how much money he could hand out. don't recall noting any interest in what he could do for the Town. can't believe he stayed this long except that he has enough cronies on the payroll that their incentive is to keep him in office.
