The Long Island Rail Road has announced that limited hourly service between Great Neck and Penn Station starts Thursday.
A 5:45 a.m. train from Great Neck to Penn will be the first westbound train and the 5:14 a.m. train from Penn to Great Neck will be the first eastbound train.
Service east of Great Neck remains suspended. Due to the expected high volume of customers traveling, LIRR advises customers to stagger their departure times throughout the day to help ease overcrowding.
