Parking Tickets, Summonses and More in Manorhaven

Issues covered in the Village of Manorhaven's latest meeting.

If you missed the Thursday Village of Manorhaven meeting, here are some of the highlights:

  • In the month of April, 154 parking tickets were paid and $9,813 was made. Fifteen moving violations were paid that month to the tune of $1,805. One code violation and one appearance ticket were paid in April for $25 and $100 respectively.
  • There were 120 parking summonses, seven code summonses and 27 orders to remedy in April. Sixty-three rental registration reports were received that month. Thirteen permit applications were received in April and 24 permits were issued.
  • Mayor John DiLeo noted during the meeting that he would like to get the police before the village board to discuss various traffic issues and concerns.
  • Village Clerk-Treasurer Jonathan Fielding said that court fines are slated to be higher than the Village's revenue projection for this fiscal year, which ends on May 31.
