A dilapidated building on Port Washington Boulevard in Port Washington will be demolished by the Port Washington Parking District, according to the .

A resolution passed at Tuesday's Town Board meeting will allow the district to enter into a one-year lease with an option to purchase the premises. The district will turn the property into a public parking area.

Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day at 7:30 p.m. 

The Town Board meets next on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. for a special meeting, and then Tuesday, Dec. 13. The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m.
