North Hempstead To Hold Sept. 11 Memorial

The Town announced that a service will be held at the Clark Botanic Gardens.

will be hosting a memorial service on Tuesday, Sept. 11, to commemorate friends, neighbors and family members who lost their lives on that day in 2001. 

The service will be held at 8:30 A.M. at the Clark Botanic Gardens, 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson.  "Open to all, this service is an opportunity for our community to reflect on the tragic events of eleven years ago," an announcement from the Town state.  Those interested in more details about the event can call 311 or the Town Clerk's office at 869-7988.
