On the same day that President Barack Obama gave his first State of the Union Address, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman gave his State of the Town Address at The Clubhouse at Harbor Links in Port Washington. During the event, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset, Kaiman addressed topics such as the 311, the School Recycling Partnership Program, the Office of Intermunicipal Coordination, and Project Independence to name a few. He urged the community to have patience with the programs the town has developed and said that these efforts have and will pay off in the years to come.
