State Senator Jack M. Martins was recently honored as the recipient of
the 2013 Legislator of the Year Award from the Long Island Chapter of the
American Institute of Architects.
Presenting this award to Martins, R-Mineola, was local chapter President Martin Hero.
AIA Long Island a Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, has more than 600 members, including architects, associates, and professional affiliates, according to the group's website.
