Dina DeGiorgio (R-Port Washington) was sworn in as town councilwoman by former Sen. Alfonse D'Amato on Monday in Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park. DeGiorgio defeated Fred Pollack (D-Port Washington) in November.
