Town Working on Clarifying Pet Memorial Brick Project

People will be able to buy bricks with their pets' names engraved from The Shelter Connection to help raise money for the organization.

The is working in conjunction with to create a pet memorial brick program that will help to raise money for the animal shelter.

But at Tueday night's Board of Trustee meeting at   said the language for this resolution needs clarification. To that end,  specified that the Town will receive the checks for this program rather than having the checks written to a volunteer organization.

Public Safety Commissioner Andrew DeMartin noted during the meeting that the language of the resolution could be changed to meet those clarifications. The resolution for the program was stricken because of the language issue but will be reintroduced during the March 27 meeting.
