Upcoming Village Elections on March 15

One village's ballots will be completely by write-in.

Three villages will be holding elections in Port Washington on March 15.

 

The following incumbents are running for these two-year term positions.

  • Mayor – Robert Weitzner
  • Trustee – Sherman Scheff
  • Trustee – Michael Schenkler

Voting will take place from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The mayor and two trustee positions are up for re-election this year. However, by the deadline, no one had submitted petitions. Therefore no names will appear on the ballot. The vote will be completely by write-in. Spots open for election are currently held by Mayor Frederick E. Nicholson and Village Trustees Charles Comer and Michael Taylor. These positions are each two-year terms.

  • Tab M. Hauser
  • Elaine Phillips
  • Aviva Pinto
  • Avery Ryan
