VIDEO: Free Digital Mammograms for Uninsured in Port Washington
Medical van provided free screenings for the uninsured.
Uninsured women in Nassau County received free digital mammagrophies at the the Port Washington Senior Center on Thursday. Free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings are available for those who are uninsured or cannot pay for these services. If cancer is found, patients may be able to get Medicaid coverage for treatment. For more information, call the Cancer Screening Program at 516.572.3300.
