Robin Sigman and Paula Whitman had the pleasure of awarding the first PWEF scholarship to Schreiber senior Dustin Travis, who will be studying mechanical engineering at Alfred University in the fall. Dustin unanimously impressed selection committee members with his essay about the multiple ways in which the PWEF influenced his education in Port. His love of Robotics throughout high school helped ignite his passion for engineering. As an alto clarinetist in the Schrieber band and jazz band, he described his unforgettable experience playing with and learning from the professional musicians of the Dallas Brass.
