HKNC Benefit a Great Success!

On July 20, 2014, Port Washington Play Troupe's "The 1940's Radio Hour" brought in a healthy crowd and well-appreciated funds for the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults (HKNC). 100% of box office proceeds went directly to the organization!

Following the performance, Acting Executive Director of HKNC Sue Ruzenski took the stage to thank everyone for attending and congratulate the company on a wonderful show. She also thanked the Peter & Jeri Dejana Family Foundation, which funds both HKNC and Play Troupe and created this partnership.

Those who missed the benefit performance have not missed their chance to support HKNC! Play Troupe encourages anyone interested in making a donation to to mail their gift to Helen Keller National Center, Development Office, 141 Middle Neck Rd., Sands Point, NY 11050. To help HKNC measure the success of this effort, please include a brief note to explain that you heard about their fundraising partnership with Play Troupe.

"The 1940's Radio Hour" will run one more weekend at the Landmark on Main Street: Friday, July 25 and Saturday, 26 at 8:00pm and Sunday, July 27 at 2:00pm. Promo video here: http://bit.ly/PWPT1940sRHVideo
