“Identity Theft: Protecting you from America’s Fastest Growing Crime.”

On Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., Dorothy O. Nese, Esq. from the N.Y. State Attorney General’s office will make a presentation at the Village Hall entitled, “Identity Theft: Protecting you from America’s Fastest Growing Crime.”

Please join the Board of Trustees for an informative evening, followed by their regular monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m.

This public briefing will be an educational presentation designed to help you protect and defend yourself against this crime. The presentation identifies exactly what constitutes identity theft under state and federal law, exposes the different tactics identity thieves use to steal an identity, and provides critical resources to minimize risk of becoming a victim.
