Opera Lecture: Rene Fleming

Rene Fleming. Dubbed “the people’s diva,” Renee Fleming is one of the best-known opera singers of the present generation. She sings a wide variety of music, from the operas of Handel, Mozart and Strauss to contemporary works including Carlysle Floyd’s Susanna and Andre Previn’s A Streetcar Named Desire. This talk with Marc Courtade will use audio and video clips showcasing Ms. Fleming’s talents. Marc Courtade is Business Manager for Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at Long Island University.
