"Radical Reptiles" at Sands Point Preserve

Friends of the Sands Point Preserve presents the next Science Sundays event "Radical Reptiles" on May 20, 2012 at noon.  Learn about the biology of these cool, scaly creatures – snakes, lizards, and turtles - as well as common misconceptions about them – in a fascinating live demonstration conducted by Wildlife Rescue of the Hamptons.

The next Science Sundays event takes place on June 17: "Father's Day Build-a-Bat-House."  Lead by biologist and educator Eric Powers, the program covers the life and habitat of these very helpful little neighbors - and participants will take home a bat house that will attract bats and birds to your property.
