Israeli Culture at Manorhaven School

Students discover Israel without leaving the building.

This week, Manorhaven Elementary School students are immersed in Israeli culture. The halls and classrooms foster hands-on learning and are filled bulletin boards full of facts.

In discovering Israel, students learned about its food, dance, music, art, science, markets nd more, thanks to the dedication of parents, teachers and Principal Bonni Cohen.

Former Principal Dr. Linda Welles started Cultural Studies Week in 1990. Each year, a new culture is picked and with the help of parents and faculty.
