Manorhaven Gymnasts Put on A Show

Flippin' to a disco beat.

This year's Fred Yarosh Annual Gymnastics Show at Manorhaven Elementary School was set to a disco theme.

Students, after completing a unit on gymnastics, performed a welcome dance and warm up and then got busy on the rings, parallel bars, balance beam, uneven bars and vault. The audience was also treated to a floor excercise performance, before the children took turns building pyramids.

The show was performed Wednesday and Thursday under the direction of the school's physical education teachers, Megaera Regan and Lauren Bishar.

Wow! This is great! I didn't know this even existed! Are there Level teams? Do they compete? Just curious. Could someone kindly get back to me with information on Fred Yarosh's Gymnastics team??? Thank you so much!

This is just an event for the 5th graders of Manorhaven , I'm not sure if the other schools do it too.
