There is plenty of good will at the Schreiber High School Community Center. Jonathan, a U.S. Army soldier and a Port Washington resident, stopped by the center.
"My parents are are utilizing the services," he said. "I wanted to help."
Also volunteering was David Wolmark, a tenth grader at Schreiber with Boy Scout Venture Crew 556. "It's something good to do in blackouts," he said. "I just want to help the community."
A volunteer at the center said that an iPhone 4S with a dark blue floral case that was recharging. If anyone picked it up in error, return to the volunteer desk.
