School Board Meets Tuesday

Meeting to be held at Weber at 8 p.m.

The Port Washington Board of Education meets Tuesday at Weber Middle School.

At the meeting, the board is expected to accept a donation from the Schreiber High School Class of 1973 of a plaque mounted on a rock commemorating their April 2013 donation of the pin oak tree located at the main entrance to Schreiber.

The school board is also expected to approve contracts and extensions to the following companies for transportation of public, private and parochial school students for the 2013-2014 school year:

  • Acme Bus Company $67,486.80
  • Anytime Transportation: $49.223.40
  • BOCES Transportation $81,728
  • Dell Transportation $1,501,040.14
