Schreiber Students Chosen For 2013 NYSSMA Conference

The event will be held Dec. 5-8 in Rochester.

Four Schreiber students were recently selected to participate in the 2013 New York State School Music Association all-state conference. The event will be held Dec. 5-8 in Rochester. 

The following students have been selected to participate:

  • Emily Weinstein: alto 1, women’s chorus
  • Annie Kim: violin, string orchestra
  • Amy Choi: violin, alternate
  • Nicole Forman: violin, alternate

The NYSSMA program is one of the largest musical organizations in the country with nearly 5,000 member and approximately 100,000 students participating annually in spring adjudication festivals held throuought New York. The NYSSMA Winter Conference attracts nearly 4,000 participants and offers about 190 workshops and showcases.
