Schreiber to Hold Job Fair for Port Washington Businesses and Students

Find out how to participate.

It's never too early to start planning for that summer job. To help students and business owners alike, Schreiber High School will host its fall job fair on On Oct. 29.

The objective is to provide a convenient setting and venue for local businesses who are in need of summer help to meet and interview students who are looking for employment. During this evening, you will be able to interview prospective candidates who have expressed an interest in your available positions. The interviews will be no more than 15 minutes.

Students will be required to sign up for an interview prior to the evening. The program will run from 7-8:30 p.m.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Hank Hardy in the guidance office with the following information:

  • Name of the business
  • Brief description of the job (tasks, hours, days, starting/ending date, pay, benefits, etc).
  • Employment requirements (working papers, age, desired skills)

Send in this information and a confirmation to participate by contacting Hardy at hhardy@portnet.k12.ny.us by Monday Oct. 22.
