Schreiber, Weber, Administration Buildings Closed Thursday

Elementary schools will open unless weather conditions worsen or power outages occur at other school.

Port Washington Public School Interim Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Mooney issued this message to families via phone and email on Wednesday, 8:45 p.m.

This is Dr. Kathleen Mooney with a VERY important message from the Port Washington School District.

Late this afternoon two utility poles on Campus Drive were sparking. This created a dangerous situation and caused us to shutdown both Weber and Schreiber.  Due to the severe weather conditions and the instability of the power situation, Schreiber, Weber and the Administration Building on Campus Drive will be closed all day on Thursday, November 8, 2012 for students and staff.

Unless weather conditions worsen or power outages occur at the other schools, the District elementary schools will be open on Thursday. If the status for the elementary schools changes, you will receive another message early tomorrow morning.

Please stay safe and exercise caution.
