Special Halftime at Port Washington

The band played, the dance team performed and new members were inducted into Port's Hall of Fame.

There's nothing quite like a football Saturday on Long Island, where New York City suburbs meet up with a slice of Americana.

That was no more true in Port Washington Saturday, when the Schreiber High School marching band played Port's fight song and the dance team performed a complex routine flawlessly.

The special program honored the newest members of Port's Sports Hall of Fame.

The photos here tell the story.

Too bad you didn't get some video of the half time show and some audio of the band. Looks like they had a good performance.
