Summer reading is also a great way to enrich a student’s academic experience, Port Washington educators say.

To that end, check out the plethora of suggested reading on the Port Washington Public School District website.

Handpicked by school librarians and teachers, the list includes everything from Jon Scieszka’s “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” for Kindergarteners and first graders to Howard Greenfeld’s  “The Hidden Children” for fourth and fifth graders.
